The National Forum on Higher Education for the Public Good

Catherine Roosevelt

Catherine Roosevelt is a 2nd year master’s student in the Center for the Study of Higher and Post-Secondary Education, completing the Philanthropy, Advancement and Development concentration.

A native of Ann Arbor, Catherine completed her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan in 2007, obtaining a degree in Women’s Studies and Photography.  While an undergraduate, she was extensively involved in the Greek Community as well as Relay for Life.

Upon graduation, she was employed as a consultant for her international sorority, Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women.  As a consultant, she traveled to approximately 25 college campuses around the United States working with collegians, alumnae, and University staff.

Since returning to Michigan for graduate studies, Catherine has developed a passion for university development and fundraising.  In a natural outgrowth of that passion, her current work at the National Forum is with the Endowment for the Basic Sciences.
