The National Forum on Higher Education for the Public Good

David Mickey

 

David Mickey is an Undergraduate Student at the University of Michigan enrolled in the College of Literature Science and Arts. He studies both Communications and Linguistics. Aside from his studies he is very involved with extra curricular activities at the University. He takes part in several student leadership programs on campus, such as LeaderShape, in addition to taking a very active role in the Greek Community at the University of Michigan. David is both the Vice President of Order of Omega, an Honors Society in the Greek Community which dedicates itself to educational excellence, and the President of the Multicultural Greek Council, a group of social fraternities and sororities which have a strong voice in advocating multiculturalism awareness and social justice issues at large. This young man hopes for a bright future in Student Affairs, and is volunteering with the National Forum on Higher Education for the Public Good to gain some exposure to Higher Education. At the Forum David is working on Immigration and Higher Education which is a project that is special to him given that he is a native of Mexico.
