Elizabeth Hudson

 

Elizabeth Hudson is a Ph.D. Candidate at the University of Michigan's Center for the Study of Higher and Postsecondary Education. Her research interests include higher education and social responsibility,  community perspectives in partnership, and promotion of dialogue and deliberation. At the National Forum she examines the university-wide engagement strategies for partnership in one community, serves on the outreach and engagement task force in the School of Education, and fulfills other research roles as they emerge.  She also edits the book review of the Michigan Journal of Community Service Learning and serves on the board of the Ginsberg Center.
 
Prior to her doctoral work, she worked as an adjunct faculty member teaching communication research methods at Salem State College, served in the Peace Corps in Ukraine, and earned a Master's Degree in Communication.
