Eliza Marroni
Special Events Coordinator
Eliza Marroni joined the National Forum on Higher Education for the Public Good in January of 2007 to help with the many ongoing projects and events that take place through the Forum each year. Eliza's responsibilities include, helping to organize, frame, implement and assist with follow-up work for events that are sponsored by the Forum. Eliza is also responsible for helping to secure and budget the events. Along with the event planning, she is also here to assist students as needed to ensure their success.
Before working at the National Forum on Higher Education for the Public Good, Eliza worked with several local non-profit agencies, including the Hemophilia Foundation of Michigan (HFM) and the HIV/AIDS Resource Center (HARC). She was the Fund Development and Volunteer Coordinator for a total of 7 years at both agencies. Eliza has a strong background in event planning, securing funds and wearing several different hats for an individual position.
Eliza graduated with both her Bachelors in Arts and Masters in Arts from Eastern Michigan University, specializing in Communication Marketing. She is currently working on a third degree in Nursing. Eliza resides in Plymouth, Michigan with her husband and son.
