Lara Kovacheff-Badke

Lara Kovacheff Badke is earning her Master’s degree in Higher Education at the University of Michigan’s Center for the Study of Higher and Post Secondary Education (CSHPE). Prior to pursuing graduate studies at the University of Michigan, Lara practiced law in Windsor, Ontario. Lara holds a law degree from the University of Windsor (LL.B., 1997), as well as a social work degree from McGill University (BSW, 1993) and a liberal arts degree from the University of Ottawa (B.A., 1990). At the National Forum on Higher Education for the Public Good, Lara is the team leader for the reframing the conversation on immigration project: “Changing the Dialogue on the Effects of Immigration Policies on Educational Access and Civic Participation”. Lara is particularly interested in working in areas that combine her interests in law, social work, international issues and education. In her free time, Lara’s passion is to travel.
