Mark Wiederspan

 

 

 

 

Mark Wiederspan is a first year masters student in The Center for the Study of Higher and Postsecondary Education.  He graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 2002 with a major in Political Science and minors in Communication and Business Administration.  While at Wesleyan, Mark served in a variety of leadership positions, including President of the student government and as an elected student member on Wesleyan's Board of Governors, which is the governing board that oversees the management of the University.  Mark worked as both an intern and, after graduation, as a government relations representative and policy analyst at the Nation Student Loan Progam (NSLP), a non-profit student loan guaranty agency in the Federal Family Loan Program (FFELP).  In his free time, Mark enjoys watching college football, playing golf, and spending time with his wife, Jess.
