Shannon Johnson

 

 

 

Shannon Johnson completed her undergraduate degree in 2001 at Kenyon College, with a major in psychology, a minor is sociology, and a concentration in women's and gender studies.  She worked for four years as a therapist with at risk youth in wilderness settings before beginning her Master of Social Work degree at the University of Michigan in 2005.  She is now working on a dual Masters in Social Work and Public Policy and is due to graduate in 2008.  She is enthusiastic about democracy in higher education and is focusing her efforts on the Jackson County Compact, the Brightmoor Community Project and helping finishing up with Access to Democracy research at the National Forum.
